Camille and Douglas traveled all the way from Virginia to have their destination vow renewal on NYC’s iconic Brooklyn Bridge for their five year wedding anniversary on July 28th, 2023! Since they were planning a wedding out of state, they wanted to make the planning process a lot easier and chose our Candid Love wedding experience that includes photography and officiant services.

Dave and Sarah’s Handsome Hollow Wedding
Dave and Sarah were married on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 surrounded by ferns, maple trees, and loved ones on the picturesque grounds of Handsome Hollow, a gorgeous hidden gem in upstate New York. While Dave and Sarah are city dwellers, the Catskills holds a special place in their hearts as it has become the site of annual camping trips during their almost 9-year journey together.

Writing vows can be all kinds of stressful. More so, if you’re not used to expressing your thoughts and feelings. So in order to ease those nerves and help you craft those love-filled vows, make it date night activity.
Have an honest conversation with your partner and get to the heart of what matters most in your relationship. This can be very therapeutic and lots of fun! The whole point is to get a real sense of the big and small things you each bring into your relationship.
Amy + Anthony’s Jane’s Carousel Wedding
Amy and Anthony celebrated their 13th anniversary on their wedding day surrounded by family and chosen family who flew in from all over the world to celebrate this milestone moment at the iconic Jane’s Carousel in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Theirs is a story about two scientists who fell for one another at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where they worked together in a lab to discover how to mend broken hearts.
Michelle + Geoffrey’s Brooklyn Weddings
While the pandemic kept us socially distant, masked, and generally feeling hopeless, love persevered again and again! Michelle and Geoffrey eloped the morning of December 20th, 2020 with a few of their closest loved ones in Dumbo, near Jane’s Carousel overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and renewed their vows the following year on November 28th, 2021.
Leanne + Miriam’s Brooklyn Elopement
Leanne and Miriam had an elopement ceremony on June 12th, 2022 during our 3rd annual Pride Grows in Brooklyn event at Brooklyn Grange. This event is a pro-bono experience for LGBTQ+ couples in partnership with inclusive wedding vendors who are either part of the LGBTQ+ community or LGBTQ+ loving allies.

Keshal + Jessica’s Central Park Elopement
Jessica and Keshal got married in Central Park’s Ladies Pavilion on June 11th, 2021 while everyone was still adjusting to life in the age of COVID caution. It was a time where we were not quite post-COVID and not quite in the thick of the pandemic fear. While an intimate elopement wasn’t in their original wedding plans, these college sweethearts decided to just go for it and get married alongside their immediate family in the city they only recently called home.
