Angela and Meghan were married on a brisk winter day on January 21st, 2023 in The Garrison, a gorgeous estate nestled in the Hudson Valley. It was important to them to share their story in a fun and authentic way that celebrated their multicultural union, their love of family, their deep bonds to their community, and their winding journey to one another. Our fully personalized All In Love wedding ceremony experience was the best fit for them!

Here’s an excerpt of their wedding ceremony where Karla welcomed loved ones to this momentous moment in Angela and Meghan’s lives while expressing gratitude for their presence.

“THANK YOU, beloved family and friends, for coming from near and far to participate in this awesome human ritual of unity and community.

In case you didn’t know, for Angela and Meghan, this wedding is not just for or about them. For these two busy and ambitious people who tend to have a lot on their plate, this gathering allows them to spend time with their crew - something they both highly value and always cherish!!! They’re grateful you’re here as they wish to make memories with all of YOU!

Whether you’re the parents of our beautiful couple, a bestie from way back when, or a plus one on an awesome first date - remember that we are all here to bear witness to Meghan and Angela’s love and commitment!! This means that we all have a very important role to play as each of us, in our own unique way, get to contribute to the loving and joyful energy of their very special day!”

Angela and Meghan wanted to intentionally include their parents within their wedding ceremony by asking them to bless their marriage, which is common in Filipino weddings. They chose to pair this tender moment with a reading by Shel Silverstein. Here’s an excerpt of this touching moment.

“They’ve chosen to start with a parental blessing that is common for weddings in Filipino culture, which we’ll be pairing with a poem from revered American author, Shel Silverstein. It speaks to the ultimate parental struggle of wanting to prepare our children for the world and protect them from the harshness of certain realities whilst imparting hope and instilling courage in them to search their hearts and seek out their own destinies.

Listen To The Mustn'ts

by Shel Silverstein

Listen to Mustn'ts, child, listen to the Don'ts.

Listen to the Shouldn'ts, the Impossibles, the Won'ts.

Listen to the Never Haves, then listen close to me.

Anything can happen, child, Anything can be.

Please, Meghan and Angela’s moms, come on up to offer your blessings and well wishes to your daughters.

Meghan and Angela’s dads, please come on up to offer your blessings and well wishes to your daughters

Thank you, Maria and Arvin. Thank you, Damian and Sharon! For bringing into this world two really good human beings who know how to love!”

Angela and Meghan’s story took many twists and turns before they reconnected, swiped right, and finally arrived at their first date. Once they did, they felt that soul connection that solidified their commitment to one another. Check out an excerpt of their love story.

“It’s true, folx! High school Angela must have had a hidden crush on high school Meghan that didn’t even register for her consciously.

And without realizing it, Angela, you set things in motion; you put forth an intention and the universe, as it’s known to do, eventually responded. It conspired to bring you two together precisely when it did - when you actually had a shot at getting exactly what you got!

Again, you didn’t know of that yet. Still, you seemed to care a little more than you normally did; right, Meghan? You weren’t being your usual nonchalant self playing it cool. You certainly tried, but it was hard to do with someone you already sorta knew.

After exchanging a few messages, you, Meghan, decided to ask Angela out on a proper dinner date, which was different for you. You also got dressed up and even put on make-up, things you normally opt not to do. Meghan, although you didn’t know what to expect exactly, you had an inkling that the date would go well. And it certainly did!! As fate would have it, that July 8th in 2016 was when you both went on your very last first date.”

Their love story was the highlight of their wedding ceremony and together, decided to include community vows and repeat-after-me vows before being officially pronounced Mrs. and Mrs. Dizon! Review the excerpt of their wedding ceremony before their pronouncement.

“Meghan and Angela. In a few weeks you’ll be on your honeymoon in Iceland, looking up at her northern lights. Make sure you take some time to express gratitude for all your blessings and to dream out loud together - activate that beautiful  imagination and let the bright night sky know you’re ready to say YES to whatever comes next.

And keep shining that beautiful light of yours. Remember that the brighter you shine, the more illuminated your path will be. And when you feel a little dim, go back to your joy - rest, play, and love yourselves and each other. And remember today!”

Congratulations, Angela and Meghan! Enjoy every bit of the winding road ahead. Adventure awaits!
