Free Marriage License Signings for Immigrant and LGBTQIA+ Couples Before Trump Returns

If you’re concerned about the consequences of the upcoming Trump administration, you’re not alone. This is not the outcome we voted for or the future we’ve been fighting for. While can not say we’re surprised, we hoped with abandon that this country would make the obvious choice for a candidate that, at the bare minimum, is NOT a convicted felon or dictator wannabe.

Now we must prepare for this wholly unqualified and unAmerican regime to roll out the plans they proposed in Project 2025 and get ready for the heinous actions directed at the most marginalized communities among us. While we likely can’t be fully prepared for the authoritarian rule that we, as a collective, are about to endure, we are committed to being a safe place to cushion the crash landing.

Because of our identities as children of immigrants, an LGBTQIA+ immigrant and Air Force veteran (Karla), and first-generation American (Dani), these targeted attacks are against our communities. They are against our family, our friends, our loved ones, our couples, you, me, and us. In an attempt to quell the raging anxieties, we are offering donation-based marriage license signings and discounted elopement ceremonies in Boston, New York City, and New Jersey for immigrant and LGBTQIA+ couples.

In order to make these offerings as accessible as possible, the marriage license signings are either totally free (no cost to you) or, if you can spare it and prefer the energy exchange, we humbly welcome donations. Our semi-personalized City Hall Love and fully personalized Intimate Love elopement experiences are 20% off for ceremonies taking place before January 20, 2025, Inauguration Day. Once Upon a Vow offers wedding officiant services in Boston. You can reach out to us via email at daniela@onceuponavow.com and/or karla@onceuponavow.com, send a text to 347.927.8139, or fill out our contact form.
